DIY Christmas Eve Photo Props

Oh my gosh...the big day is in 4 days! 4 days! I'm not ready. Are you ready? I'm not ready. I'm thinking that if I deny it, I will find a wand & sprinkle fairy dust on everything and I will be finished & have the energy to be merry as well.

I know, I know...but a girl can dream right?

My presents may not be wrapped, & my house may be a big fat mess, but I am smiling at my girls who are laughing and having a ball with these photo props. Isn't that what it's all about?

I got to thinking and thought that maybe you would want some of these DIY Christmas Eve Photo Props too. They are quick & don't take a lot of time & will provide hours of entertainment. Plus you will get some fantastic pics as well.

Ok-the best part...I picked up mos of these from Target. They came in a kit with everything that you need. I just added a little more love. I can't leave well enough alone. It's a sickness really...

I added some batting to the Santa hat and a mustache. Much more Santa-y looking don't you think?  I added a pom to the bow tie and made a Rudolph nose with pom-poms too. I'm kind of obsessed with the Sprinkles, Pearls & Sequins by Doodlebug. So I added some of these to a few of the props as well. If you can't find these at your Target, you can always cut some of your own props out and add the same embellishments that I did.

I cut out a few Photo Prop Word Bubbles with my Silhouette to finish up the set.

And then I let my girls go to town. We probably took 50 pics and they wanted to take 50 more. Yes, these are THAT fun!

I think adding a simple chalkboard sign is the perfect finishing touch. I added the hashtag so when all of my family gets together, we can easily see each others pics.

Did I mention that my kids had a blast with these? A couple of my favorite pics from the bunch..

My own Santa-esque mug shot..

These 2 actually getting along..completely picture worthy..

And my all time favorite...

Happy Creating!
