20 DIY Advent Calendar & Activity Ideas

Oh my gosh, I can't believe that Christmas is right around the corner! I am not ready for this. Are you?  As soon as I can convince my husband to bring up the Christmas trees and red and green totes, I think that I will be better prepared.  I hope so anyway...

I have made a few different advent calendars for my girls over the years. There is just something about the anticipation that adds to the excitement. I still remember fighting with my brothers over who got to eat the little square of chocolate that was hidden behind the the paper windows. So, with this mind, I thought an awesome roundup of DIY advent calendars was in order.

So, without further ado...

  1. I found your advent calendar list on Serenity Now, and I LOVE it! I was debating on starting this tradition or not, and I think now after seeing your list we are definitely going to have to give this one a try! I love the idea of putting Christmas activities in as well as charitable ones so the whole family feels involved! Great post!
