Hello...is anybody still here?
Please forgive me for my lack of posts. I have been a little preoccupied. We are selling our home! So exciting and so exhausting at the same time! I have asked myself many times,
"why in the heck am I moving again?"
I have a lot of stuff...really..a lot! So, the past month has been filled with de-junking, cleaning, de-junking, and a little bit of organizing.
I am so happy to say that the house is finally on the market!
If I could do a cartwheel, I so would have done one when the house went on the mls.
Instead, I sat and worried and hoped that our home was good enough for someone else to like it, to love it and to want to buy it.
I have been asked the question, "why are you moving?" Well, I have kids. 3 girls to be exact. One that is a teenager (I love her, but I swear she is deaf) one that is a tween (I so wish that I was as smart as she is) and an almost 9 yr. old.
They need a place that they can bring their friends home to (awesome tv room and game room) (do I REALLY want that) a home where they can spread all their crap out and I want a giant kitchen/great room! Our current home has been such a blessing to us! We have loved it and it was a really hard decision to decide to move. We went back and forth FOREVER! Finally, after much prayer and contemplating and lots of lists...we decided that we needed to move.
With that decision being made, we had a VERY long list of things that we needed to get done before we could put a sign in the yard. Why is it that you wait until you are ready to move to do all the things that you should have done a long time ago? What was on the list? Well, we needed a new fence. Our neighbors tramp went through it 3 times! So that was a must. The yard needed some tlc and I may or may not have had to get rid of my "extra" furniture.
We painted the front door, inside and out. Everything looks better with a fresh coat of paint. We redid our master bathroom. Again-why in the sam heck did I wait so long to do that? I love it now! I HAD to have new pillows for our bed. What was that...? You take your pillows with you and they really aren't a necessary thing to sell your home...Yea...
The whole house got some sprucing up and it looks awesome!
Our home has been such a wonderful blessing to us. We have made so many memories here that I will treasure forever. I pray that a family will be led here that will love this home as much as we have. A family who will make the lifelong friendships that we have made and will truly be able to call this house their home.
So, if you know of anyone who is local to the North Ogden Utah area and is looking, here is the link to see all of the listing info.
Now, don't you worry. Now that my house is so flipping clean and there is nothing else that I can possibly do to it, I will still be crafting and creating again. I refuse to pack up my craft room until the very last minute! I will be posting more regularly again. My glue gun is ready to work again! I think that I really, really need a new lamp in the family room.
If you are new here, I would love for you to stay in touch!
