Craft Room Organization Tips

The buds are out on the tree's and the birds are awake and singing. It has even snowed a couple of days here in Utah. When all of these things happen (even the snow) it must be Spring! Spring means decorating with fresh flowers, bright colors and spring cleaning!

If you are a creator-that you probably have a space that you create in. Please tell me that I am not the only one who needs a "Craft Room/Space Intervention" from time to time.  So, I pulled out all of my favorite organizing and decorating ideas for a craft room, and I have been dying to share them with all of you. I am so excited about this-I even did an episode about it.

Now I know that you probably were not taking notes, so I thought that I would make you a little cheat sheet. I know, I am so giving.

1-Use something pretty for storage
Use something else besides ugly plastic bins. Think outside the box and use jars, crates,  decorated bank boxes, and even a gumball machine. Use glass to store things that you use all the time. It will remind you to use it.

2- Create a space that makes you want to spend time there.
Surround yourself with things that make you happy. Spell words with your letter collection. Show off your favorite sign from one of your favorite friends.

3- If it isn't pretty, hide it!
I made Cubby Curtains for Ikea shelving unit.

Tension rod -cut to fit
Fabric-glue the pocket into place
Ribbon-glue on for some extra details.

I hope that you will try some of my tips and hide, show off and enjoy your crafting space.

Happy Creating! Stay in touch..I would love it!
