Its Terrific Tuesday People!
Why is it Terrific?
Well, I have the fantastically talented creator of
The 36th Avenue as my special guest.
I recently found Miss Desiree's blog and I absolutely adore all that she does.
I also thoroughly enjoy her amazing attitude! You can't come away from her blog without smiling.
She is THAT awesome!
I know that you will love her as much as I do.

Hello beYOUtiful people...!
I am a mama times 4, a wife times 1 {thank heavens!}, a thrifty shopper, a fabric lover, a paint brush best friend and a never ending makeover believer. I love blogging, meeting new people and VISITING HERE is something like...a DREAM.
Tausha, you know already that I love you girl... thank you so much for having me!
OK enough about me and the talking...
What I am really here for is to show you the magic powers of a kitchen towel.
The thing is that one day I was sitting in my "Make It Happen Room" staring at these yellow towels and the blue pattern ones,
when a thought crossed my mind:
"Wait a minute...
I know what I can do with those!"
{ dry your hands? }
NO! I can make an apron...
...for my sweet Saydi!
And one little apron...
And with the 99 cents place-mat that I found at the thrift store...
I can even make another one for Mimi!
...So... to keep the story short...
here is a mini picture tutorial
of what happened next...
of what happened next...
These were soooo EASY to make... because there was almost no sewing involved.
The main body of the aprons were the kitchens towels, then I cut a few straps of fabric, put them in place, sewed them together, added some cute embellishments and I was done...
Three aprons for under $5.00... I'll take that!
...I should have bought the tablecloth also... the kitchen towel won't do it for me ;)
...here is another little something that I did with some other kitchen towels.
These pillows... make me happy!

Thank Y♥U again Tausha...
you are EXTRAORDINARY!
