Having a Ball-literally

I love Target Dollar Spot.
I love it even more when it goes on sale.
BUT, I really, really, really love it when Target sends their unsold Dollar Spot stuff
to the Salvation Army.
Then I pick it up for el-cheapo!!
That is what happened when I bought some packages of ping pong balls.
I kind of got carried away and I picked up about 10 packages, you know just in case I ever find a need to use 40 ping pong balls!!
Really, 40?
So, I have been trying to come up with ideas to use them.
I am having a "ball!"
Ha-that was so lame!!
I used 26 for the alphabet segment I did on TV the other day.
So, now I have a little less than half left.
I used them to make this

Me and my fine point sharpie have become quite close lately.
I just wrote the letters-uppercase and lowercase on each of the ping pong balls.
I then stacked them in a cute, it only cost me a quarter, metal red bucket from the thrift store.
Added some Dollar Store hearts left over from last year and our family picture (that is framed in a super cute frame I found at the thrift store also)
And…

Cheap and Easy Décor!
Score!
I am so on the “ball” with my Valentine Décor!
Ohh wait, I also drew a heart with a little 5. Remember algebra, when you had to do problems with a number to a power? That is the only thing that I remember, oh and that I was EL-SUCKO at math.  That is what I was going for with the heart to the 5th power. There are 5 of us…get it? I’m sure you do.
Moving on…
(sorry-I’m tired and my lame jokes seem more funny than they really are)
I can’t wait to show you the Dollar Store Fabulousness I face lifted!

I love a good makeover!

  1. I thought your jokes were funny. Such a fun cute idea. Love the power of 5! I am not a math person, but now I get it.

  2. I love what you did with the ping pong balls, what a great idea. I sucked in math too, sadly I think my youngest is following in my footsteps on that one.

I'm following your blog through the blog hop :)
