A little Laundry Trick

Sorry-I am out planting planters while the sun is shining.
I will be back with some sort of crafty something or other... soon.

Just wanted to share a tip for your laundry.
If you use dryer sheets-use bounce and then rip them in half.
There is so much STUFF on these Bounce sheets-a half a sheet is plenty.

I just rip mine in half as I use them.
Saves me money and saves me time because I don't have to emplty the filter as much.

Hope this helps someone!!
Happy Wednesday!

  1. I don't use dryer sheets, but I have used only 1/2 the amount of laundry detergent and only cold water (in most cases) for years now! Works just great, plus I buy the ALDI brand detergent ($2.49 for a big bottle). Thanks for the tip, though, I'll def pass it on to my dryer sheet using pals! Hope you got my comment the other day about the award I passed on to you guys!

  2. I don't use dryer sheets as well--i love liquid--but thought I'd pass along a tip to those that do use dryer sheets--scrub the filter in your dryer out often!!!!! Dryer sheets leave a film on the screen of the filter (yes that screen that you have to peel the lint off after each cycle) and makes it so that liquid can't go through it! If it's not scrubbed clean it can make your dryer overheat--then you'll eventually have to buy a new dryer. So, to extend the life of your dryer and to make each cycle more energy-efficient--scrub the filter clean. :D
