He pretty much made me cry.
So not kidding.
I came home and took some drugs and got a little bit of relief so what did I do?
Laundry that really needs to be done?
Heck no!
I crafted.
I crafted some carrots and a bunny and a egg.
Thats all I could handle.
Now I am typing under the influence, so I hope I make sense :)
I made the carrots I had been dreaming of.
They turned out just as cute as I hoped.
Want to know how I did them?
Oh, wait, do you want to see a pic of them?
(told you I was under the influence-don't judge)
See how cute they are?
I love them in the apothecary jar!
I just used styrofoam cones, super cute orange fabric, and some funky green stuff.
I shaved some of the cone off so it had more of a carrot shape.
This makes a huge mess. Be prepared.
I just ripped some strips of fabric and glued it on the cone.
It was super easy! Don't look at my super ugly nails. They so need to be done.
I liked the look of the fabric ripped into strips or you could cut it.
I just hot glued the fabric into place. Super easy and super cute!
The green stuff is from the dollar store. You can break up one bunch to do 3 carrots.
If you don't want to make them and you want to buy them instead-
these carrots are listed in my etsy shop.
I also made this super cute easter egg
I used strips of pastel fabrics, tulle and ric rac. (cause I love it)
It is listed with the faux grass. I had to list it with the grass. It looked naked by itself just sitting there.
I made this little bunny as well.
He is so simple and cute. Very perfect for your house! Both in my etsy shop.
I don't want you to think that I tooting my own horn here.
I so don't need any more easter stuff, yet I just can't stop making it.
So-I was hoping that all of you could help me out.
Cause if you by it all-then I can continue to make it!
Win Win
See-I am only thinking of you!
Your welcome! :)
Ok-I am so done now.
I am yelling at my kids and really wishing that I had a diet coke!
Stupid Teeth!
Hope you all have a great night!

Just sayin' that I so feel your pain. Had 3 fillings on Tuesday, and my jaw is still sore from where I apparently chewed it while it was numb! And I paid for that! UGH! And...I'm avoiding laundry too. Cute carrots. Wondering what you used for the green stuff, or did I miss that?

ReplyDeleteI couldn't stand it any longer, I BOUGHT the carrots... After thinking about them all night and then at the grocery store today, so much so that as I was thinking about them on the way home, I ran a RED light, oh yes I did... For some strange reason I stopped as if it were a 4 way stop and then proceeded right on through making a car swirve so I didn't hit them... REALITY check... focus on my driving NOT the carrots!
ReplyDeleteYou my dear are funny sorry about your teeth. Hubby hates the dentist as well. I think I'm the only person that loves to go to the dentist... Don't judge....LOL

ReplyDeleteWow! It's really nice to see those lovely art works of yours after going through a dental procedure. Admit it or not, a few of us actually loves going to a dentist. Hasbrouck Heights' dental office is where I always go regularly for dental check-ups. And it's great to know how my dentist in Hasbrouck Heights motivates and encourages me that we must not get afraid of going to a dentist. And to think that dental procedures are not that painful actually.
ReplyDeleteWell anyways, thanks for the post!
