I was just sitting in my craft room, looking at all of my crap and wondering what the heck I was going to create.
I needed to create!
I had to do something all me.
So, I came up with this.
Ok-I know it's hard to see, but this spells my last name through the words.
HOYT-I used the same stamps as the rest of the words, just a olive green color ink. Now, I am not tooting my own horn here, but I really like how this turned out. Even my husband noticed it and said something.
So, how did I do this?
I found a lined piece of scrapbook paper, pulled out some thrift store stamps (that I have never used before and have had for over a year) Nice!
I wrote out the words before hand. Trying to get the words with the right letters in the right order did take me a minute.
Then I stamped it out. I added the 5-there are 5 of us in our family, so I thought it would be a fun element.
I also made the glasses shadow box. My husband did not like this one, but what does he know right?
Stay tuned: Giveaway will be tomorrow.
