This is one of our latest clients home. She is in Hawaii. Yes, I am EXTREMELY jealous. We redecorated her home while she is soaking up the rays. Did I mention that I am jealous? So these are some of the before and after shots of her home. I apologize for the lighting in some of the afters. The afternoon light apparently was not condusive to picture taking. Too bad I didn't notice this while I was there. Nice! We had her get a rug and pulled her furniture off the walls. That is so key to make a cozy, intimate, relaxed environment.
We took some of ther items off the wall and added a sofa table. A lamp and a green plant soften some of the hard lines in the room. Look at the cutest pillow!
This is such a great shot of the room and the impact furniture placement can have on a space. Cozy is a way overused word. So, I thesausaured it. (I am pretty sure that is NOT a word) So how about comfortable, restful, secure. Now, don't you just want to sit there with a blanket and a good book?
