Got Ribbon?

So-I was wondering, am I the only the only person who has a ribbon problem?
You know the problem I'm talking about.
I LOVE ribbon, so I buy it ALOT! More than I should. But, I also eat too many m&m's, so I figure it balances out.
This was my ribbon storage..It's awesome huh?
So, I took these supplies. A plastic zipper container, you know the kind you get pillow cases and sports bras in.
A knife-Which was a little too sharp BTW...
Some Ribbon.

I cut slits all over the bag with my knife. I cut different size holes, depending on how wide the ribbon was.

This is what it ended like.
I know, a jumbled ribbon mess. Cool Huh?
Actually, it's a secretly organized mess of ribbon.
I love it! I love how it easy it was and I love how easy it is to use.
I love that I get to see all of my ribbon, even the scraps pieces.
Try it.  What was that?
You don't have any of those plastic thingies?
Well, go buy some new curatins or some sports bras from costco.
You will be good to go!

On a bit of a heavier note.
I have a wonderful friend who has a 5 year old daughter. Her little, darling, red headed, little girl was just diagnosed with a brain tumor. She just got out of surgery and they were able to get it all, plus extract all the spinal fluid buildup. I am telling you this, so all of you can pray for them. They are not out of the woods yet, and any prayers offered on their behalf would be very appreciated!
Thanks so much in advance.

Hooking up with all of this awesomeness!

  1. Hey I think that is a great idea. I do have a question though. You just throw all the ribbon rolls in the bag? No order or lining up? Just throw them in? If that is so, that is my kind of ribbon organizer.

P.S. We will keep their family in our prayers.

  2. thanks for the CLEVER idea! one can NEVER have too much ribbon, huh?!
praise God your friend's daughter's surgery went well. (o: i will pray for her complete healing... He is able! thanks for sharing. (o:

  3. That is a fun idea! Oh and I will say a prayer for her, it breaks my heart to hear things like that!

Thanks for stopping by. Hope that my craziness might have inspired you! I would to hear what you have to say. (as long as it is nice)
