The BIG reveal! (ok, it's not really THAT big..)

This is one of my treasures from the other day. It was a DOLLAR! It even had the pegs with it. I know that to some of you this is no big deal, but, that was a major bonus for me. This is what I did with it....

I know, what some of you are thinking.....
what the heck is up with the numbers?
No reason. I just liked them. Guess I could make something up.
How about this...it is for 8-who once was 6-she is one of 3 sisters-she is number 2 in the kid lineup, there is 5 in our family on on February 8th-she is number 1!
Ha ha ha..I just made that up on the fly.   I am so awesome! :)

Warning...lots of pics coming up. Some in which I should be very embarassed to post, but...you all love me and wont judge, right?

Before-BAD BAD BAD!

Awesome forest green built in bookshelf. You all wish you had one.

Now, it doesn't look SO green right?

5 had to get in on the fun as well. She kept asking..is it time to decorate yet. Yep, I am proud of my little, future decorator!

She even loves thrifting!  I think I need to put some new knobs on the dresser. What do you think?

This is her bed with the big, white, furry rug on it. Yes, I did intentionally buy it for the floor, but who uses stuff for what it's made for anyway?

Let me know what you think. I need the comments, it's been one of THOSE weeks!

PS-I am going to do a giveaway on Friday! You will not want to miss this!!!

Linking up to all kinds of fabulousness!

  7. Love it all! I think you should put new knobs, I saw somewhere that someone took fake flowers (gerbera daisys) and took the middle out and put the petal part between the dresser and the knob (does that make any sense at all) any way it was super cute, and I think it would go perfectly in your daughters room. :)
